College football Week 10 predictions for big games


With the first College Football Playoff rankings out, Saturday’s Week 10 slate of games will have a substantial impact on the final four race.

November kicks off with several marquee showdowns including Alabama-LSU, Georgia-Kentucky and Penn State-Michigan — all with major Playoff implications. The top-ranked Crimson Tide have won seven straight over the Tigers and take the nation’s top-scoring offense into Tiger Stadium, at night, in hopes of staying unbeaten.

Georgia-Kentucky decides the SEC East, a tilt the Wildcats are calling their biggest games in program history. Michigan, sitting just outside the Top 4, knows it needs to win out to state its case to the selection committee.
